rand{,package}config enables configuration options with 50% probability,
which isn't always what we want in BR (because the "big" configs take a
long time to build and limits the chance of a randconfig detecting a
missing dependency), so introduce a KCONFIG_PROBABILITY environment
variable to tweak the probability between 0 (all options off) and 100
(all options on).
To use, simply set the environment variable before running make or pass
it on the make command line - E.G.
make randpackageconfig KCONFIG_PROBABILITY=10

This is a copy of the kconfig code in the kernel (currently 2.6.24.4) tweaked to suit Buildroot. To update: cp -r /usr/src/linux/scripts/kconfig package/config.new cd package/config.new cp /usr/src/linux/Documentation/kbuild/kconfig-language.txt . patch -p1 < ../config/kconfig-to-buildroot2.patch mv Makefile Makefile.kconfig cp ../config/README.buildroot2 . cp ../config/foo.h . cp ../config/Makefile . cp ../config/kconfig-to-buildroot2.patch . cd .. rm -rf config mv config.new config Then verify the toplevel targets work: config defconfig menuconfig oldconfig
